Joseph Sold Into Egypt
๐ Genesis 37-41
Genesis 37-41: Joseph Trusted God No Matter What
Have you ever had a really, really bad day?
Joseph had a bad thirteen years.
What Happened to Joseph?
Joseph was a young man who loved God. His father gave him a beautiful coat. But Joseph's brothers were jealous. They were so angry that they sold Joseph to strangers who took him far away to Egypt.
Joseph was all alone. But he didn't give up. He worked hard and was honest, and God blessed him.
Then something unfair happened. Someone told a lie about Joseph, and he was thrown into prison even though he hadn't done anything wrong!
God Was Still There
Even in prison, Joseph kept trusting God. And one day, the king of Egypt needed help understanding a dream. Joseph told the king what God wanted him to know. The king was so impressed that he made Joseph one of the most important people in all of Egypt!
Even when things seem really unfair, God is still watching over us.
What would YOU do? If something unfair happened to you, would you keep trying to do the right thing?
