Genesis 5; Moses 6: God Picks You Even When You Feel Too Small

Have you ever felt like you weren't old enough or good enough to do something important?

Enoch did.

When God asked Enoch to tell people about Him, Enoch said: "I'm just a kid. People don't like me. I'm not a good speaker."

He thought God had the wrong person.

But God said, "Go. I'll help you. When you open your mouth, I'll give you the right words."

So Enoch went. And something amazing happened. People listened. More and more people started following God. Eventually, Enoch helped build an entire city of people who loved God and each other so much that they were all taken up to heaven!

All because Enoch decided to go, even when he was scared.

God's Plan Is Old

Moses 6 also teaches something cool: the plan of salvation—baptism, following Jesus, repenting—wasn't just made up later. God taught it to Enoch a very long time ago, when the world was still new.

That means the things you're learning in Primary right now are ancient truths. Old and true and still working.

Your Mission This Week 🙏

Think of one thing you've been avoiding because it feels too hard—maybe talking to someone who is left out, doing something kind when no one is watching, or saying a prayer when you don't know what to say. Do it this week. Ask God to give you the words, just like He gave them to Enoch. See what happens.
