Genesis 3–4; Moses 4–5: Even When We Mess Up, God Still Loves Us

Have you ever done something you weren't supposed to and felt really bad about it?

Adam and Eve did too.

They were in a beautiful garden called Eden. God had given them so many good things there. But one day, they ate fruit from a tree God had told them not to eat from.

After that, things were different. They couldn't stay in the garden. Life would be harder now.

But here's the amazing part: God didn't just leave them.

He came to talk to them. He gave them warmer clothes to keep them safe. He made a plan to help them come back to Him someday. Even when Adam and Eve made a big mistake, God kept loving them and kept helping them.

Later, Eve said something beautiful. She said that because of their choice, they could learn what joy and sadness feel like, and they could someday be saved by Jesus.

The Fall wasn't the end. It was the beginning of God's rescue plan.

Cain and Abel

Adam and Eve had two sons named Cain and Abel. Abel loved God. Cain didn't choose God.

When Cain got angry, God came to talk to him. God gave Cain a chance to feel better and do what was right. But Cain didn't listen.

God never stops trying to help us. Even when we're angry or sad, He's still there.

Your Mission This Week 🙏

This week, when you make a mistake, try something different before you feel bad for too long. Pray. Tell Heavenly Father what happened. Ask for help. Then remember: God made a rescue plan for Adam and Eve. He has one for you too. His love didn't stop when they made a mistake—and it won't stop when you do either.
